What words do you use to worship? Worship using the names of God, the names of Jesus. “Lord, you are the Lamb of God, the Savior of the world, the Prince of peace…
Worship using adjectives, words or phrases descriptive of God. “Lord, you are good, you are mighty, you are faithful…”
With your child(ren) use a concordance to find Bible verses with a descriptive word such as “worthy.” Read the verses as part of your devotional/worship time. Do this slowly, deliberately. Reflect or meditate on the meaning of the verses. Then think of songs or hymns that use the word in worship, and sing your favorites together.
Here are some words and phrases in the King James Version to get you started. They will read differently in other versions.
You Alone, Thou Alone/Only
2 Kings 19:15 And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth. LORD, bow down thine ear, and hear: open LORD, thine eyes, and see: and hear the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent him to reproach the living God. 19b …save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD God, even thou only. (also in Isaiah 37:16, 20)
Nehemiah 9:5b Stand up and bless the LORD your God forever and ever: and blessed be thy glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise. 6 Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth and all things that are therein, the seas and all that is therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.
Psalm 4:8b for thou LORD, only, makest me dwell in safety.

You cannot accurately say, “God, You are great! You are one in a million!” No, because another million might come along some day, and another god like Him might be possible. But that’s impossible, because there is no one like Him. You can’t say, “Jesus, You are one in a trillion!” because that’s not true! Another trillion, or 16 trillion, might come along and another Jesus might be possible. But, that’s impossible, because there is NO ONE like Him! NO ONE! Not even one!
